The app allows users to re-connect with their network of classmates and alumni. Users can sign-in, search by high school and post messages to share with former classmates.

My role was primarly to design and develop the front-end for this project. We used Handlebars to render templates server-side, which required a shift in the way I had thought about the front-end. While at first it was frustrating, breaking down the design into components forced me to really focus on the details and understand how the front- and back-end would interact.

In the end, using a template engine allowed me to repeat less code and instead spend more time and energy on functionality and fun aesthetic elements (like the landing page animation)!
